Our New Distribution Center in the United States
We have been organizing and stocking our new Distribution Center in
Birmingham,
Alabama, BBD, with Mike Butler, for the United States Market and we
also now
have our - Dept of Treasury Tobacco Import Permit for the United
States,

Mike Butler - In Charge of
BBD,
Our Distribution Center in Alabama.
Mike is also authorized to accept checks in the United States as well.
Mike will
also be in charge of promoting our cigars at cigar events and shows. We wanted
to have that set in place, to begin selling to Retail Tobacco Shops.
Now we will
begin a campaign, to set up Tobacco Shops in the United States.
We are also creating new promotional marketing brochures, to send to
Tobacco
Shops with our Cigar Products, to introduce our Famous Brands and our
Company,
to the American Market.
We will still be sending some orders from the factory in Costa Rica,
till we get
an idea of the perfect "American Stock" to have in place. But
soon, it will
be fully organized, and this will cut down on shipping time and fees.

Our Manufacturing
You can visit and tour the Vegas de Santiago Cigar Factory any time,
it is about
an hour and 20 minutes from San Jose, by Taxi, take the freeway going
towards
Santa Ana, follow it to the Ciudad Colon / Puriscal exit, follow the
road thru
Ciudad Colon and up the winding mountain road to Puriscal. Go to the
center
of town, where you will see a big Catholic Cathedral on the right,
follow the
road directly up the hill 400 meters. Our
Factory is on the right hand side. Our
factory is painted Green and Beige, with a Unique, Stone Mural of
Shaman Indios
and Tobacco Crops.
Open: Monday thru Friday - Hours: 9am to 11:30 and 1 to 4pm
Our factory is located in the Center of Puriscal, 400 meters south of
the old
Catolico Cathedral. This is a rich and fertile area, high in the
lush, green
Mountains of Santiago de Puriscal in Costa Rica. Growing in this
region, allows
us to use natural composts, and there are very few insects.

You can also visit our
Cigar Tobacco Plantation, to see how Tobacco is grown, just
a few
miles down from our factory.
We have been crafting and hand – rolling our cigars, here in Costa
Rica, for
20 years. In the beginning, there was an association of 200 small and
middle-sized local tobacco growers, who have been growing cigar
tobaccos
for generations.
In our factory, we maintain
high quality control and temperature storages in
our walk-in humidors.

Under the expert guidance, of one of the 10 greatest Cuban masters,
Don Luis
Santana Lamas, the association started making cigars in the late 80s,
for the
Costa Rican market only. Five years ago, we went international and now
are
selling cigars world-wide, mostly through our International Website,
translated
into 4 languages. Buy Online: Wholesale and Retail.
Each year the local tobacco growers, still bring their cigar tobaccos
into our
warehouse for the curing process. This allows us to choose the best
tobaccos
for our use. The rest is sold on the open market.
Our purpose and goal, is to rival the best cigars available on the
market. Experts
in Holland in February this year for instance, judged our "Robusto"
Don Luis,
just behind the Robusto Partagas No. 4 and better than all other
Nicaraguan and
Dominican rivals.

Smoke
Magazine - Fall 2006 Issue (Volume XI, Issue 4)
This interesting article by Randy Tantlinger, about Golf and cigars in
Costa Rica,
tells how he visits some of Costa Rica's best golf locations and
smokes plenty of
cigars.
In
addition to some great information about Costa Rica, his article
includes some
details about his visit to our Cigar Manufacturing Facility in
Puriscal, Costa Rica
an highlights our finest cigars.
It's good to see Costa Rica mentioned on the cover of Smoke Magazine,
many
people don't realize that Costa Rica has excellent Cigar Tobacco, and
creates
such high quality cigars.
I hope this will open up some hearts and
minds in the
United States and in the
International Market Place. The story is
semi posted
online right now at

2007)
